Afghan Carpet Manufacturing Company wins first place among 19 countries

KABUL: The Afghanistan Carpet Producers and Exporters Association has announced that a carpet manufacturing company from Afghanistan has secured first place among 19 countries at the Domotex International Trade Fair held in Istanbul, Turkey. The association stated in a message that this achievement is a significant victory for Afghan carpets, enhancing their value, trust, and demand in international markets. The Domotex International Trade Fair, which opened on January 8 for two days, showcased products from 19 countries around the world. Six Afghan carpet manufacturing companies participated in the event. According to the Afghan Carpet Producers and Exporters Association, this is the second time Afghan companies have attended the Domotex International Trade Fair in Istanbul, but it is the first instance in which an Afghan company has won first place among all participants. Economic analysts state that winning first place at a major international fair like that in Istanbul represents an important step for the Afghan carpet industry. They emphasize that this victory demonstrates that Afghan carpets remain competitive with their international counterparts in terms of quality, design, and craftsmanship.
