Drones strikes on residential houses in Khost and Nangarhar

KABUL: Local residents in Khost and Nangarhar have reported that drone and fighter jets conducted airstrikes on civilian homes, resulting in casualties among civilians. In Nangarhar, drones targeted a house in the 28 Wiala area of the Shinwar district, said the sources, adding that two children were injured in the attack and were transported to the Ghani Khel hospital for emergency medical services. Residents of the Spira district in Khost also reported that drone strikes hit several homes in their area. According to some sources, two children were killed and six others were injured in this bombardment. It is also reported that airstrikes occurred in the Dangam district of Kunar, but no reports have yet emerged regarding casualties or damage. They stated that the airstrikes took place last night, causing casualties among the people, but the exact number of casualties remains unclear due to the darkness at the time of the strikes. The Taliban has not yet commented on the incidents.
