GAZA: Israel’s attack on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, which resulted in the deaths of several individuals, including journalists, has sparked global reactions. UN Secretary-General António Guterres has called for an immediate investigation and a ceasefire. The President of France and the Foreign Secretary of the UK condemned these attacks, urging Israel to open humanitarian aid routes and respect international law. Hamas and various media outlets hold Israel responsible for the massacre. International news agencies have confirmed the deaths of their journalists: Hossam Masri (Reuters), Mariam Abu Daqqa (Associated Press), and Mohamed Salama (Al Jazeera) were among the casualties. Nasser Hospital has been targeted multiple times over the past 22 months and continues to provide services despite equipment shortages. Just two weeks ago, six journalists, including Anas Sharif (Al Jazeera), were killed in a targeted Israeli attack. The Israeli army chief has advised the Prime Minister to accept a ceasefire agreement and the release of hostages, yet Israel has launched operations for full control of the city of Gaza. Hamas claims that Israel is not seeking a ceasefire and has held the Israeli Prime Minister responsible for the lives of the hostages.
