Houthi to target companies trading with Israel

YEMEN: The Houthis’ forces in Yemen have threatened to target any vessel in the Red Sea belonging to companies that conduct business with Israel. A military spokesman for the group stated in an interview that these ships will be attacked regardless of their country of origin. He emphasized that this action marks the fourth phase of their operations against Israel. Since the outbreak of conflict between Israel and Hamas in October 2023, the Iran-aligned Houthi group has begun attacking international vessels in solidarity with Hamas.
