TEL AVIV: Following escalating violence and missile attacks by Islamic Republic of Iran on Israel, the US Embassy in Jerusalem has announced that it will suspend operations for the next three days, temporarily closing the embassy.
This decision comes in light of increasing regional tensions and security threats.
Meanwhile, Israeli army radio reported that since the outbreak of the conflict, approximately 400 ballistic missiles have been launched from Iran into Israeli territory.
Additionally, US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, noted that a building associated with the US Embassy in Tel Aviv sustained minor damage due to an explosion nearby, but no American personnel were harmed.
In recent weeks, military tensions between Iran and Israel have reached unprecedented levels, raising security concerns among foreign nations involved in the region due to airstrikes, missile launches, and drone attacks.
Embassies and international organizations in Israel have heightened their security measures.
Despite its strong support for Israel, the United States has advised its citizens to evacuate if possible from conflict zones.
