ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif begins a six-day trip to Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran, and Tajikistan.
The Prime Minister’s office announced that the purpose of this visit is to enhance bilateral relations and discuss regional issues.
During his trip, Prime Minister Sharif will express gratitude for the support from allied countries amid tensions with India.
He is scheduled to engage in discussions with senior officials from these four countries regarding the development of bilateral relations, regional matters, and international developments.
The six-day visit begins in Turkey and concludes in Tajikistan, where he will participate in an international conference on glaciers taking place on May 29.
The President of Iran has also extended an invitation for a visit to Iran to the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
