The Afghan Republican Front has called on former military and security personnel of the previous Afghan government to reorganise and join its efforts against the Taliban.
In a statement, the front also urged civilians to keep their distance from military and civilian personnel in areas under Taliban control.
The group said the appeal was aimed at protecting human rights and preventing harm to civilians.
The Republican Front said it would continue its efforts to minimise civilian casualties and prevent damage to private property and public assets during military operations.
