Yemeni forces claim to have targeted two Saudi oil tankers

Yemen’s armed forces have said they targeted two Saudi oil tankers, ENCELIA and LAYLA, in what they described as a special military operation. In a statement, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, said the vessels were targeted for allegedly violating a ban on maritime traffic in the Red Sea. Saudi authorities and the companies operating the tankers have not commented on the claim.
