US President Donald Trump has said military strikes against Iran will continue until he decides that “enough is enough”. Speaking to Fox News on Tuesday, Trump said the Iranian government still had some capacity to fight, but claimed that much of its capability had been severely weakened. Asked how he would describe the current situation and whether the conflict had resumed, Trump said people could call it whatever they wanted, but added that the United States had delivered “a very heavy blow” to Iran. Trump also reiterated the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open, highlighting the strategic importance of the key shipping route.
