Afghanistan’s National Resistance Front (NRF) has released a new video claiming responsibility for attacks against Taliban forces in several provinces, saying it has expanded its guerrilla operations across the country. The group said it carried out hundreds of operations over the past year. A recent UN report also noted that anti-Taliban armed groups remain active in parts of Afghanistan. The claims come amid reports of growing internal tensions within the Taliban, including criticism from dissident commander Juma Khan Fateh, who has publicly opposed the presence of foreign militant groups in Afghanistan and criticised the group’s policies.
