The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that the State Department is offering a reward of up to $20m for information about Iran’s nuclear programme.
In a statement posted on X on Friday, CENTCOM said the reward was being offered through the State Department’s Rewards for Justice programme.
The programme is seeking information about Iran’s nuclear facilities, equipment and individuals involved in the country’s nuclear programme, including nuclear scientists and their movements.
The US State Department said eligible informants could receive a financial reward and assistance with relocation to a safe location.
The announcement comes amid continued military tensions between Washington and Tehran. US President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that American strikes had destroyed Iran’s nuclear programme.
