US Vice President JD Vance says Washington will not hold peace talks with Iran unless Tehran stops firing on commercial vessels.
Vance said the US was keeping all options open, including economic, military, diplomatic and security measures. He added that Washington was working to keep oil and gas shipments through the Strait of Hormuz safe.
Iranian officials have accused the US of an air strike on a wedding ceremony in Sirik, Hormozgan province, which they say killed and wounded several people. US Central Command has rejected the allegation.
