30 July 2026 — Iranian media, citing health officials, report that three people were killed and two others injured in US strikes on Qeshm Island on Thursday morning. According to the Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences, a residential house in the Chah-Tangu area of Qeshm was hit during the attack. The victims were identified as a father, a mother and their two-year-old child. The report said two other children from the same family were injured and taken to hospital for treatment. Ahmad Nafisi, the political, security and social deputy governor of Hormozgan Province, confirmed the incident, saying that debris clearance at the targeted residential house had been completed. The US military has not commented on the reported civilian casualties, and the claims have not been independently verified.
