India has delivered humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan following the devastating floods in Nuristan province, providing relief supplies to support communities affected by the disaster. In a statement, India’s Ministry of External Affairs said the assistance, which includes food supplies and family tents, was handed over to Afghanistan’s National Disaster Management Authority for distribution to those impacted by the floods. The ministry said the aid reflects India’s continued commitment to supporting the Afghan people during times of crisis, adding that New Delhi stands in solidarity with those affected by the disaster.
