Iran’s state news agency IRNA has reported that the US military has begun attacking civilian infrastructure in Iran, carrying out strikes in several parts of Hormozgan province early on Friday. According to the report, the Kahourestan Bridge, on the road leading to Bandar Khamir in southern Iran, was struck. IRNA said at least three people were killed in the attack, adding that local authorities in Hormozgan had confirmed the incident. The agency also reported that a railway junction in the port city of Bandar Abbas was targeted during the early morning strikes. There has been no immediate comment from US officials on the reports, and the claims have not been independently verified.
