The US military says it has concluded a five-hour wave of strikes in Iran for the third consecutive night following attacks by the Islamic Republic on vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. US Central Command (CENTCOM) said on Tuesday that the operation had inflicted significant costs on Iranian forces and would reduce their ability to target civilians and commercial shipping in the strategic waterway. According to CENTCOM, US forces successfully struck military targets across Iran during the five-hour mission, including locations in Bushehr, Chabahar, Jask, Konarak, Abu Musa and Bandar Abbas.
