The Washington Post reports that six US soldiers were killed and more than 30 others injured in an Iranian drone attack on a US military base in Kuwait. According to the report, surviving troops have accused US military commanders of failing to act on earlier warnings about vulnerabilities at the base. The soldiers said the facility was not adequately prepared to defend against Iranian drone attacks and that the response, including aid and evacuation efforts for the wounded, faced significant shortcomings after the strike. The Washington Post reported that an internal US military investigation did not assign responsibility to any specific individuals or commanders, a decision that has caused frustration among some survivors and their families.
