An Israeli official has said that Israel will maintain its military readiness for a potential strike against Iran even if Tehran and Washington reach a new agreement. The official stressed that Israel’s security decisions are based on its own independent assessments and that any future agreement between Iran and the United States would not alter its military preparedness or its determination to counter what it views as threats from Iran.
