Taliban minister says hundreds of Christian missionary centres have been shut down

Taliban Minister for the Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, Mohammad Khalid Hanafi, has claimed in an audio message that hundreds of Christian missionary centres were operating across Afghanistan before the Taliban returned to power. He said the centres were shut down after the Taliban took control of the country and that their activities had come to an end. However, Mr Hanafi did not specify where the alleged centres had been located in Afghanistan, nor did he provide any evidence or documentation to support his claim.
