Abbas Araghchi Iran’s Foreign Minister, said in a post on X on Wednesday, that the United States should “rein in its pets” in Tel Aviv, warning that Iran would “teach them a lesson” if they disobey Washington’s orders. The remarks come after Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz, told Israeli media earlier that Mojtaba Khamenei had been “marked for death”. Katz also described Iran as “skilled negotiators” in the context of ongoing regional tensions and reiterated that Israel would not allow Tehran to acquire nuclear weapons, adding that if this goal could be achieved through an agreement, it would be preferable.
