India’s Ministry of External Affairs has strongly condemned Pakistan’s recent airstrikes on Afghan territory, describing them as a violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and a threat to regional peace and stability. In a statement issued on Sunday, June 29, the Indian Foreign Ministry said that the Pakistani airstrikes had resulted in multiple civilian casualties, including women and children. New Delhi characterized the attacks as a “blatant act of aggression” and stressed that such actions constitute a direct assault on Afghanistan’s sovereignty. The ministry further stated that the strikes reflect what it described as Pakistan’s persistent pattern of reckless behavior and an attempt to externalize its internal failures through acts of violence beyond its borders. India also expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the attacks, wished a speedy recovery to the injured, and reiterated its unwavering support for Afghanistan’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
