According to a report by Al Arabiya, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi is scheduled to travel today to Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. Citing sources, Iran’s Foreign Ministry said that as a result of ongoing talks between Iran and the United States, the potential signing ceremony of a possible agreement may be held in Geneva, Switzerland, with Pakistan also expected to participate in the process. Pakistan has played an important role in recent months in facilitating contacts and easing dialogue between Tehran and Washington. Reports indicate that both sides are closer than ever to reaching an agreement, although no official announcement has yet been made regarding the exact date of the signing.
