Araghchi: Iran and the United States have come closer than ever to the Islamabad Agreement

Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s foreign minister, has said that Tehran and Washington have come closer than ever to reaching the “Islamabad Agreement.” In a post on X on Friday evening, Araghchi said that the details and content of the agreement would be shared with the public at an appropriate time. Commenting on the negotiation process, Araghchi said: “We have come closer than ever to the Islamabad Agreement. Until this agreement is finalized, the media should refrain from speculation and conjecture about its content.” Araghchi’s remarks come as speculation has increased regarding the outcome of recent talks between Iran and the United States, drawing the attention of regional and international media.
