WASHINGTON, June 8 — U.S. President Donald Trump has said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should accept any potential agreement reached between Washington and Tehran. According to a report by Fox News on Monday, June 8, Trump’s remarks came amid rising tensions between Iran and Israel following Tehran’s missile attack on the country. The report said Iran had fired missiles toward Israel for the first time since a ceasefire was established in April, a move that has heightened concerns about the possibility of renewed hostilities between the two sides. Israeli officials said some of the missiles were intercepted, while others landed in open areas. At the same time, Israeli military officials warned that Iran had made a “major mistake” by carrying out the attack. The remarks come as a U.S. official said Washington does not currently expect an immediate Israeli strike on Iran and believes there is still an opportunity to continue diplomatic engagement and advance talks with Tehran.
