The Israeli army carried out attacks against targets in Tehran and Isfahan shortly after Iran fired missiles toward Israel. No precise details have been released so far regarding the specific targets hit, the extent of damage, or potential casualties from the incident. Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency reported that at least two loud explosions were heard in Tehran and three explosions in the city of Isfahan. Meanwhile, the Tasnim news agency, also based in Iran, confirmed the attacks and stated that explosion sounds were heard in Tehran, Isfahan, Tabriz, and several other areas in western Iran, but provided no further details. According to Iranian media reports, explosion sounds were also heard in parts of Karaj. These attacks took place after Iran’s armed forces announced that, in response to what they described as “repeated violations of the ceasefire on the Lebanon front,” they had launched a wave of missiles toward targets in Israel. In a statement issued by Iran, it said dozens of ballistic missiles were fired at military and strategic bases and centers. Simultaneously, warning sirens sounded in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and some central areas of Israel.
