A report by the Al Arabiya television network, citing unnamed sources, says that Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir, may travel to Tehran in the near future. According to the report, the potential visit comes as intensive diplomatic efforts continue to finalize a draft agreement between the United States and Iran. Sources added that the next round of talks is likely to take place in Islamabad, aiming to further advance the negotiation process between the two sides. So far, no official statements have been issued by Pakistani, Iranian, or U.S. authorities regarding the reported visit or the planned next round of talks.
