Zakia Khudadadi, an Afghan-born French athlete, has won a second gold medal at the European Para Taekwondo Championships. Competing on Monday, Khudadadi defeated opponents from Italy, Georgia and Turkey to secure first place in the women’s 47kg category. She previously won gold at the same competition in 2023 and became the first Afghan woman to win a medal at the Paralympic Games in 2024. The 2026 European Taekwondo and Para Taekwondo Championships began on Monday and will continue through Thursday.
