US Senators Call for Cooperation and Stability Between the United States and China

Reuters has reported that a delegation of US senators, during a visit to China, stressed the importance of stability and peaceful cooperation between the world’s two largest powers. US Senator Steve Daines, who is leading the delegation, said during a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi “We want to reduce tensions. We want stability and mutual respect.” The remarks come ahead of US President Donald Trump’s planned visit to China.
