CNN reports that U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance is expected to lead the next round of negotiations between the United States and Iran. According to the report, U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and former White House adviser Jared Kushner are also set to join the delegation. Earlier, Donald Trump said talks could resume within days, likely in Pakistan, describing the country’s role as significant. The development comes as efforts continue to restart negotiations later this week, possibly in Islamabad. Previous direct talks between the two sides, hosted by Pakistan, ended without agreement but marked the highest-level contact since 1979. Both sides have expressed willingness to continue discussions, while Pakistani officials are working to arrange the next round.
