KABUL: Taliban raided a guesthouse in Kabul, which serves as accommodation for former employees of German organizations and individuals promised federal acceptance in Germany, media reported. According to sources, Taliban fighters confiscated the residents’ mobile phones and interrogated them about their attempts to migrate to Germany. The costs of the guesthouse are covered by the German government. Many residents had fled to Pakistan for a period after the Taliban regained power, but some have returned to Afghanistan this year due to delays in the relocation process. As of now, the Taliban have not issued any official response regarding this incident.
