NEW DELHI: A tragic traffic accident in India has resulted in at least 8 deaths and approximately 43 injuries. The incident occurred this morning in the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, when a container truck collided with a tractor carrying pilgrims returning from a religious ceremony. According to police reports, among the deceased are two women and one child. Dinesh Kumar Singh, the police chief of Bulandshahr, stated that three of the injured are in critical condition and are on ventilators. Authorities have confirmed that treatment for the injured is ongoing at nearby hospitals, and an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.
