11 people killed, wounded in traffic accident in Ghazni

GHAZNI: Khalid Sarhadi, the Taliban’s police spokesman for Ghazni has said that a traffic accident in the province has resulted in two deaths and nine injuries. Khalid Sarhadi, stated that the incident occurred due to a collision between two passenger vehicles. Additionally, another traffic accident in the “Ab Band” district left two women injured. Authorities attribute the traffic incidents to driver negligence. Recently, traffic accidents in the country have surged dramatically, primarily due to reckless driving, poor road conditions, speeding, and disregard for traffic rules. Taliban officials have repeatedly urged drivers to exercise caution during any travel to ensure the safety of passengers. It is noted that traffic accidents in the country often result in fatalities, including men, women, and children.
