GAZA: Hamas has reiterated in a statement that the armed struggle of the Palestinian people is their legitimate national right, and they will continue to resist until the Israeli occupation comes to an end. The statement reads: “The resistance and the right to bear arms are not only for the survival and freedom of our people, but are also rights recognized by international treaties and principles, which cannot be taken away by anyone.” Hamas emphasized that it will never abandon the path of resistance until all historical and national rights of Palestine are restored, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. The remarks come amid ongoing intensified clashes between resistance forces and Israeli troops in the occupied Palestinian territories.
