KANDAHAR: A foreign tourist was lightly injured in a traffic incident in the Daman district of Kandahar province, officials confirmed. Asadullah Jamshid, police spokesman of the Taliban in Kandahar, in an interview with the media, stated that the incident occurred this morning around 8:00 AM in the Pul Arghistan area of the Daman district. According to him, the tourist, a citizen of Poland, was traveling towards Spin Boldak when his vehicle collided with a cargo truck, resulting in slight injuries. Jamshid attributed the cause of the accident to excessive speed and the carelessness of both drivers. The tourist was transferred to Mirwais Hospital, and health officials reported that his condition is satisfactory and that he has not suffered serious injuries.
