YEMEN: Spokesman of the Houthi armed forces in Yemen, Yahya Saree, announced that they conducted missile and drone strikes on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport and another significant target on Friday.
In a statement, Saree said, “We successfully carried out operations against Ben Gurion Airport in Israel and another important target in Jaffa, with God’s help.”
While he did not provide details on the damages caused, he claimed that the Israeli military was unable to intercept their drone and missile attacks, resulting in delays to flights at Ben Gurion Airport.
At the same time, Israeli officials stated that they successfully thwarted the Houthi missiles.
Saree also mentioned that the Houthis would continue their attacks on Israel until the blockade of Gaza is lifted.
This is the second attack by the Houthis on Gen Gurion Airport in the past six days.
