NEW DELHI: The Indian Premier League (IPL) for 2025 has been officially postponed following increasing tension along the India-Pakistan border.
According to reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has been considering all possible options since last night.
The postponement comes after a match between the Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings was canceled due to security concerns.
The game was taking place in Dharamshala when security officials evacuated players and spectators from the venue mid-match.
Additionally, Pakistan also postponed its PSL match last night due to security issues, and Pakistani media reported today that the remaining PSL matches will be held in the United Arab Emirates.
