Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, met and held discussions with JD Vance, Vice President of the United States, on the sidelines of the high-level summit in Bürgenstock, Switzerland. These talks are aimed at accelerating the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran. The meeting took place as senior officials from the United States, Iran, Pakistan, and other involved countries gathered in Switzerland for technical discussions to translate the commitments outlined in the Islamabad MoU into practical measures. Pakistan is playing a mediating role in reducing regional tensions and facilitating dialogue between Washington and Tehran.
