Erdogan said on X on Sunday evening June 14, hoped the agreement would help create a “stable environment of peace and security” across the region. He called on all parties involved to refrain from provocative statements, actions that could heighten tensions, or any steps that might lead to a further escalation of the crisis as the agreement approaches the signing stage. The Turkish president also stressed the need for vigilance against any potential attempts to undermine the peace process, saying that measures should be taken to prevent actions that could put the process at risk. Erdogan described the establishment of peace and stability in the region as a longstanding and urgent necessity, adding that Ankara is prepared to continue supporting diplomatic efforts and peaceful initiatives aimed at advancing this objective.
