Marco Rubio, the United States Secretary of State, has confirmed that Donald Trump, the President of the United States, will attend the upcoming NATO summit in Türkiye. According to reports, Rubio made the remarks while speaking about Washington’s diplomatic agenda, stating that Trump’s attendance is scheduled for July. The NATO summit is expected to take place amid tensions between the United States and some of its alliance partners, following disagreements over the Iran war and the level of cooperation among member states. Meanwhile, US officials have said that one of the main objectives of the summit will be to address existing differences and strengthen coordination among NATO members.
