Local sources report that at least three people have been killed and 45 others injured following Pakistani rocket attacks on parts of Kunar province, including its capital. According to the sources, the হামা attacks occurred on Monday, targeting multiple areas. The Faculty of Education at Sayed Jamaluddin Afghan University in Asadabad was reportedly struck and sustained damage. Sources also state that several villages and residential areas in the city were hit during the হামা attacks. While Taliban military positions are said to be located around Asadabad, there have been no reports so far indicating that these sites were directly targeted. Border clashes between the two sides have been ongoing for nearly two months, although their intensity has decreased in recent days. The United Nations had earlier reported that more than 70 civilians were killed during the first two weeks of border clashes in eastern Afghanistan. The organization also stated that 269 people were killed in a Pakistani airstrike on a medical facility in eastern Kabul on March 16.
