Iran and the United States are considering a second round of talks before the current ceasefire expires, with discussions possibly taking place this Thursday. The first round of negotiations, held in Islamabad last Sunday, ended after 21 hours without any agreement, and both delegations returned home. According to the Associated Press, sources say both sides are exploring the possibility of new face-to-face talks to reach a deal and end the six-week conflict before the ceasefire ends. While no final time or location has been confirmed, the talks may be held in Islamabad or Geneva. It also remains unclear whether the same negotiating teams will participate. So far, neither Iran nor the United States has officially confirmed the talks.
