KABUL: Local sources in Kabul have reported that a dismembered body of a woman was found today, in the Kabul River in the Chahilstone area. According to the sources, the woman’s body was located inside a bag, and due to the unclear circumstances, it has been reported to the security forces for further investigation. One source mentioned that the mutilated body was first spotted by scavenger children, after which Taliban officials arrived at the scene for investigation. Another source added that the body was initially found among trash before being moved into the Kabul River. As of now, the identity of the woman and the details surrounding this incident have not been officially confirmed, and the Taliban have not yet commented on the matter. Investigations into the event are ongoing.
