KABUL: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce of India has dismissed reports regarding a temporary suspension of trade with Afghanistan due to ongoing crises and instability in Iran and called it untrue. According to the ministry, the letters and news circulating on social media claiming that India has halted trade with Afghanistan because of Iran’s instability are fabricated and have no basis in reality. The statement emphasized that these reports are part of propaganda from fake Pakistani social media accounts. Recent news suggested that due to the increasing instability and unrest in Iran, India had either suspended or ceased trade with Afghanistan.
