MOSCOW: The Voennoedelo website has reported, citing the Russian Defense Ministry, that 1,220 Ukrainian forces were killed in the past 24 hours, and a significant amount of their ammunition was destroyed. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that Russian forces targeted Ukrainian and foreign centers in 140 areas. During the attacks, 191 drones, several long-range rockets, and six guided bombs belonging to Ukraine were also destroyed. The report further indicates that explosions and heavy assaults continue in various parts of Ukraine. The attacks come amid recent efforts by U.S. President Donald Trump to end the war in Ukraine, including meetings with Ukrainian and Russian leaders. Despite these efforts and international calls for a ceasefire, hostilities continue.
