GAZA: The United Nations Development Program has warned that the severe fuel shortage in the Gaza Strip has reached critical levels. If fuel supplies are completely cut off, over 2.1 million people will be deprived of essential services.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the organization emphasized that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is extremely dire, and immediate fuel access is essential for continuing relief operations.

According to a joint statement from UN agencies, without fuel, it will be impossible to provide medical services, ensure access to drinking water, operate hospitals and ambulances, maintain bakeries, and distribute humanitarian aid.

After months of conflict and blockade, Gaza faces widespread infrastructure collapse and a severe humanitarian crisis.
