Members of Pakistan’s opposition Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party say the country’s military has detained three sisters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in Lahore.
Al Jazeera, citing several PTI members, reported that the women were detained ahead of a planned demonstration on 27 September calling for Mr Khan’s release.
PTI members said a 30-day detention order had been issued against one of his sisters, Aleema Khan.
