Ahmad Massoud, leader of Afghanistan’s National Resistance Front, has said that the struggle against the Taliban will continue and called for international support.
In a recent video message, Massoud said his forces did not need foreign troops to fight the Taliban, but argued that continued international support was important.
He also claimed that his forces had carried out 54 operations since 1 August, saying that more than 128 Taliban members had been killed or wounded. The figures could not be independently verified.
