Apple has unveiled its iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, alongside its first foldable iPhone, as the company introduced its latest products at an event in California.
The iPhone 18 Pro models are powered by Apple’s new A20 Pro chip and feature an upgraded 48-megapixel main camera with a variable aperture system, designed to improve photography in different lighting conditions.
The company also introduced the iPhone Duo, its first foldable smartphone. The device opens into a 7.6-inch display and has a 5.4-inch outer screen. It uses the A20 Pro chip, supports Apple Pencil and offers up to 2TB of storage.
The iPhone Duo will start at $1,999, while the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will start at $1,199 and $1,299 respectively. Pre-orders for the foldable model are due to begin on 16 October, with sales starting on 23 October.
Apple also presented new Apple Watch and AirPods models during the event, while placing greater emphasis on artificial intelligence and on-device processing.
