Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned recent Houthi attacks on civilian and energy facilities in Saudi Arabia, reaffirming Islamabad’s solidarity with the Saudi leadership and people.
Sharif described the attacks on Tuesday, 8 September, as “cowardly”. The attacks reportedly left several people injured.
Pakistan is a longstanding ally of Saudi Arabia and, alongside Turkey, is one of the three members of the Mecca Security Pact.
