Netanyahu says Israeli troops will remain in southern Lebanon as long as needed

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said Israeli troops will remain in southern Lebanon for as long as necessary to ensure the security of communities in northern Israel. Speaking at an Israeli Air Force graduation ceremony, Netanyahu said: “We will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon for as long as necessary to guarantee the security of our communities in the north.”
